R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its PASSAGE Program, endeavors to interconnect traffic control signal systems situated throughout Lake County; and

WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, plans to add approximately 11 PTZ cameras, 11,000 feet of fiber optic cable, two wireless connections and two cellular connections to expand the network, along various Lake County routes, to Lake County PASSAGE; and

WHEREAS, it is advisable that a professional engineering services firm be employed to provide Phase II design engineering services; and

WHEREAS, Lake County has selected a professional engineering services firm, Hampton, Lenzini and Renwick, Inc., Elgin, Illinois, in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, for said signal system enhancements including interconnection with PASSAGE.
