Des Plaines River Watershed Workgroup (DRWW) Lakes Project in the amount of $19,655 for the period of May 1, 2018 through January 31, 2019. The amount requested to be appropriated in LCFY18 is $19,655. The project objective is to monitor the water quality of Gages, Druce, and Third Lakes including selected inflows and outflows to determine loading rates of select nutrients (phosphorus and suspended sediments) and pollutants (chlorides). These funds will be used for equipment, supplies and to offset existing staff salaries.
Suggested Motion
To accept the additional funding of $19,655 from Des Plaines River Watershed Workgroup. If deemed necessary, to authorize the Executive Director to execute an emergency appropriation or line item transfer to allow for expenditure of these funds.
