R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Kilbourne Road, County Highway 37, is a designated route on the County highway system; and

WHEREAS, the culvert on Kilbourne Road, at the Newport Drainage Ditch, has developed erosion and concrete deterioration that requires repair; and

WHEREAS, it is advisable that a firm be employed to provide professional services to determine appropriate repair strategies for said culvert installation; and

WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, has selected a professional engineering services firm, Gewalt Hamilton Associates, Inc., Vernon Hills, Illinois, in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, for said design engineering services for the culvert repairs.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board that the County Board Chair, the County Clerk and the County Engineer of Lake County are authorized and they are directed to execute, on behalf of Lake County, a contract and any amendments, for the culvert repairs on Kilbourne Road, at the Newport Drainage Ditch, with Gewalt Hamilton Associates, Inc., Vernon Hills, Illino...
