RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the County of Lake (County) owns, operates and maintains three Water Reclamation Facilities (WRFs) throughout the County including the Mill Creek WRF in the Northeast Lake Facilities Planning area; and

WHEREAS, Mill Creek WRF provides services to portions of the Villages of Old Mill Creek, Antioch, Grandwood Park and unincorporated regions of Northeast Lake County; and

WHEREAS, the Mill Creek WRF has been in continuous service since 1999 and repair and rehabilitation of the certain equipment is required to extend the service life of the clarifiers; and

WHEREAS, in accordance with the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, bids were called for by publication for the Mill Creek Clarifier Work; and

WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, invitations to bid were extended to seven contractors; and

WHEREAS, three sealed bids were received and publicly opened in the office of the Public Works Department on Monday, January 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.; and

WHEREAS, Fab Tech Wastewater Solutions, LLC, O'Fallon, Missouri, is the lowest responsive, responsible...
