R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for annual bituminous maintenance of various roads on the County highway system, and designated as Section 18-00000-13-GM; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication and calling for said bids, sealed bids were received and opened on March 20, 2018, at 10:00 AM at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois; a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer, and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is J. A. Johnson Paving Company, Arlington Heights, Illinois, in the amount of $497,107.69, based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
WHEREAS, an appropriation of funds is required.
