RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity has provided a TAA grant modification totaling $13,049 to the Lake County Workforce Development Department; and
WHEREAS, this grant is for the program period of April 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018; and
WHEREAS, this funding covers expenditures associated with payment processing; and
WHEREAS, an emergency appropriation of $13,049 is requested to allocate these funds into Workforce Development’s county Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 budget and authorize acceptance of this grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that a county FY 2017 emergency appropriation in the amount of $13,049 for Workforce Development is hereby approved and that the Trade Adjustment Assistance grant modification be accepted.
