RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the Lake County Board approved the 2018 Budget that includes funding for a deceased person removal service; and

WHEREAS, funding is provided for these services through the General Fund Coroner's Office Miscellaneous Contractual Services and the contract will be managed by the Coroner's Office; and

WHEREAS, it is anticipated that the cost of deceased person removal should be offset by a reduction in operational costs including a reduction of body bags, decreased overtime, and the future purchase of smaller vehicles; and
