R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its PASSAGE Program, endeavors to interconnect traffic control signal systems situated throughout Lake County; and

WHEREAS, ITS Passage Network 2017 includes the upgrade of traffic signal controller software at 175 locations throughout the County and five years of software maintenance; and

WHEREAS, the upgrade and software maintenance will be provided by ECONOLITE/Traffic Control Corporation, Woodridge, Illinois, who is currently responsible for maintaining the traffic signal controllers in Lake County; and

WHEREAS, an appropriation of funds is necessary.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $145,000 of 1/4% Sales Tax for Transportation funds for the 2017 ITS Passage Network, which includes the upgrade of traffic signal controller software at 175 locations throughout the County and five years of software maintenance, and designated as Section 17-00999-48-TL.
