R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial for the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Illinois Route 120, from Knight Avenue to Illinois Route 131, could be resurfaced and widened; and
WHEREAS, the free flow of traffic on Illinois Route 120, from Knight Avenue to Illinois Route 131, is beneficial to the safety and welfare of the State of Illinois and the County as a whole; and
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois, acting by and through IDOT, and Lake County believe it would be beneficial for the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Illinois Route 120, from Knight Avenue to Illinois Route 131, could be improved by resurfacing and widening; and
WHEREAS, IDOT and Lake County are desirous of entering into an agreement for the use of the State of Illinois' quick take authority, a draft copy is attached hereto; and
