RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Lake County Coroner has received a grant from the Illinois Department of Public Health Death Certificate Surcharge Fund; and
WHEREAS, this grant amount totaling $9,191 has not been previously appropriated, having been awarded after adoption of the fiscal year FY2017 budget; and
WHEREAS, these funds will be used to purchase specific equipment for the Lake County Coroner’s Office in an amount not to exceed $9,191; and
WHEREAS, the proposed appropriation will be fully offset by the above referenced items thereby not requiring the expenditure of local tax revenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that an emergency appropriation, with offsetting revenue, in the amount of $9,191 as outlined in the attached chart of accounts.
