Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) amendment - introduction of amendment topics.
Staff Summary
• Periodically, the Department of Planning, Building and Development prepares amendments to the UDO to maintain the currency of the regulations.
• In March of this year, staff collected feedback from the public on various amendment topics at the Land Team’s Ordinance Revision Open House; and in May, staff obtained further focus group feedback on regulations specific to “Local Food”.
• Staff will introduce, for initial Committee discussion, general amendment topics resulting from staff’s analysis and the public input process.
• The Committee’s feedback will be used to further refine the topics in advance of initiating the formal amendment process later this year.
