Staff Summary

•                     The current CBA between Operating Engineers Local 150 (Lake County Facilities Operations Division) and Lake County will expire on November 30, 2019.

•                     Employees covered by this agreement receive health and dental insurance sponsored by the union. The union is changing its premium structure, adding a “single plus one tier”, which is expected to result in a savings of $64,204 due to lower premiums the County will pay. An amendment to the CBA is necessary to authorize this additional tier.
