R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Darrell Road, County Highway 44, and Bonner Road, County Highway 61, are designated routes on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Darrell Road, from Illinois Route 176 to Burnett Road and Bonner Road, from Darrell Road to U.S. Route 12, could be resurfaced; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications, and estimates of costs for this improvement have been completed, and this improvement is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held, an appropriation of funds is needed; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $2,135,000 of Matching Tax funds and $150,000 of County Bridge Tax funds for the resurfacing of Darrell Road, from Illinois Route 176 to Burnett Road and Bonner Road, from Darrell Road to U.S. Route 12, and designated as Section 17-00999-29-RS.
