R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for the resurfacing of Greenleaf Street, from Washington Street to Illinois Route 120; and designated as Section 15-00184-04-RS.
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication calling for said bid, sealed bids were received and opened on April 18, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois; a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is Peter Baker and Son Company, Lake Bluff, Illinois, their bid being $848,397.71 based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
WHEREAS, this Lake County Board, by prior resolution at its meeting of November 8, 2016, appropriated $1,500,000 of Matching Tax funds for the resurfacing of Greenleaf ...
