RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 4-101 of the Lake County Purchasing
Ordinance, Invitation for Bids will be called for by publication for providing electricity rate and management services for Lake County; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids will be received and opened in the County Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on May 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the requirements set forth in the Invitation for Bids and as electricity is a spot market commodity that requires contract execution within 24 hours after opening of the bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County,
Illinois that the County Board Chairman is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with renewals for electricity rate and management services in the estimated amount of $1,700,00 to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, including up to 25percent of renewable supply.
