• Annually Lake County approves a Summer Youth Employment Worksite Agreement with various organizations and businesses that will serve as worksites and provide summer youth employment to the 215 youth enrolled in the Lake County Summer Youth Employment Program.
• The worksite agreement outlines the responsibilities of the participating summer worksites and Lake County.
• This agreement will be entered with 30 to 35 organizations and businesses that have the capacity and meet the requirements to participate in this program.
• The joint resolution authorizes the County Board Chairman or his designee to sign the agreements.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, it is necessary to enter into a worksite agreement with various organizations to provide summer youth employment work positions for the Lake County 2017 Summer Youth Employment Program; and
WHEREAS, to execute these agreements, it is necessary for the Chairman of the County Board or their designee to sign these agreements; and
WHEREAS, these agreements outline the responsibilities of the summer worksites and Lake County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that these agreements outline the responsibilities of the summer worksites and Lake County the Chairman of the County Board or his designee is hereby authorized to execute the 2017 Summer Youth Employment Worksite Agreement with various organizations.
