RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Mental Health Coalition was established on November 8, 2016, to address gaps and develop a connected sustainable continuum of care on mental health; and
WHEREAS, the group will work to address factors in communities that increase or contribute to the risk of mental illness, promoting aspects that support, expand and enhance preventative strategies and reducing risk; and
WHEREAS, the Coalition will consist of treatment providers from various organizations, including representatives of the County Board, other current or former elected officials, local hospitals, health department, homeless and housing agencies, education and employment agencies, consumer agencies, and law enforcement and Justice; and
WHEREAS, there is a vacancy for a representative from a local hospital; and
WHEREAS, your Chairman requests that this County Board confirm the appointment of Jesse Peterson Hall representing the Northshore Health System as a member of the Mental Health Coalition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the appointment of Jesse Peterson Hall representing the Northshore Health System be, and the same is hereby confirmed.
