RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the provisions of 70 ILCS 3615/3B.04(4) provides that the Chairman of the Lake County Board shall appoint one director to the Commuter Rail Board (Metra) with the advice and consent of the Lake County Board, and the appointee shall reside in Lake County; and

WHEREAS, the Lake County Board Chairman hereby recommends the reappointment of Norman Carlson to the Metra Board of Directors for a four-year term ending on April 9, 2021; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that the reappointment of Norman Carlson for a term ending April 9, 2021, be, and the same is hereby confirmed.
