R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Winchester Road, County Highway 69, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Winchester Road at Illinois Route 83, could be improved by the installation of a traffic signal; and
WHEREAS, it is advisable that a firm be employed to provide professional engineering services for the Phase II design engineering services; and
WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, has selected a professional engineering services firm, Strand Associates, Inc., Joliet, Illinois, in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, for the Phase II design engineering services.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by this Lake County Board, that Strand Associates, Inc., Joliet, Illinois, be employed to provide design engineering services for the intersection improvement of Winchester Road at Illinois Route 83, and that the Chair of the County Board, the County Clerk and the County Engine...
