RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Michael Stevens was appointed to serve as the President & CEO of Lake County Partners in 2012; and
WHEREAS, Michael Stevens has been a leading voice in supporting economic growth, collaboration and fiscal responsibility on behalf of Lake County's businesses and communities; and
WHEREAS, Michael Stevens directed an effort on behalf of Lake County Partners to reimagine the organization's strategic plan, garnering insights from Lake County's private and public sectors, to establish the Lake County Comprehensive Development Strategy (CEDS) and set forth a strategic framework that guides and aligns critical economic development efforts county-wide; and
WHEREAS, Michael Stevens has consistently championed the goals and principles of the CEDS, supporting Lake County's target industries and significantly enhancing the local economy; and
WHEREAS, Michael Stevens has led Lake County Partners' efforts to create and retain high-quality jobs, stimulate capital investment, grow the talent pipeline, and pursue economic diversity; and
WHEREAS, Michael Stevens has served as a leader at Lake County Partners and strengthened the organization's operations, services and functions; and
WHEREAS, Michael Stevens has provided steady leadership to the Lake County Partners' Board of Governors and Operations Commitee to ensure that the organization fulfills its duties and responsibilities; and
WHEREAS, Michael Stevens has formed the seminal partnerships with the Lake County government and other key stakeholders to form the Lake County Workforce Ecosystem, magnifying the impact of a key competitive strength of the County; and
