R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, plans to upgrade to light emitting diode (LED) lighting at various locations on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, it is advisable that a professional engineering services firm be employed to study and design the LED lighting upgrade; and
WHEREAS, Lake County has selected a professional engineering services firm, EJM Engineering, Inc., Chicago, Illinois, in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, for said LED lighting upgrade study and design.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that EJM Engineering, Inc., Chicago, Illinois, be employed to provide professional services for studying and designing the LED lighting upgrade at various locations on the County highway system, at a maximum cost of $107,825.01, and that the County Board Chair, the County Clerk and the County Engineer of Lake County are authorized, and are directed to execute on behalf of Lake County, a contract, and any amendments, a draft of which is attached hereto, for the provision of said professional engineering services between Lake County and EJM Engineering, Inc., ...
