Amendment to the Lake County Ethics Ordinance, previously amended on May 10, 2011.

 

Staff Summary

•                     The Lake County Board adopted the Lake County Ethics Ordinance on May 11, 2004 in accordance with the State Officials and Employees Ethics Act (Public Act 93-615).

•                     In conformance with State law, the County periodically reviews its Ordinance to determine if amendments are required.

•                     Staff is recommending amendments to add additional provisions and to clarify language in the ordinance.
