R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Aptakisic Road, County Highway 33, and Buffalo Grove Road, County Highway 16, are designated routes on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Aptakisic Road, from Buffalo Grove Road to Illinois Route 21, and Buffalo Grove Road, from Lake Cook Road to Illinois Route 83, could be resurfaced; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications and estimates of costs for this improvement have been completed, and this improvement is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held, an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $3,870,000 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the resurfacing of Aptakisic Road, from Buffalo Grove Road to Illinois Route 21, and Buffalo Grove Road, from Lake Cook Road to Illinois Route 83, and designated as Section 16-00999-26-RS.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this appropriation be processed by the County Engineer for final approval of the Illinois Department of Transportation in accordance with the "Agreement of Understanding" between the Illinois Department of Transportation and ...
