R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Greenleaf Street, County Highway 72, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, in order to ensure the free flow of traffic and the safety and welfare of the motoring public, Lake County is desirous of improving Greenleaf Street, from Washington Street to Illinois Route 120, by resurfacing and landscape enhancements within the median; and
WHEREAS, Lake County and the City of Park City are desirous of entering into an agreement stating the terms and conditions for the installation and maintenance of the landscape median, a draft copy of which is attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, this agreement was approved by the City of Park City at their board meeting of January 5, 2017; and
WHEREAS, this Lake County Board, by prior resolution at its meeting of March 8, 2016, appropriated $1,500,000 of Matching Tax funds for the resurfacing of Greenleaf Street, from Washington Street to Illinois Route 120.
