WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 5-102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, a bid was called for by publication for Window Blinds and Shades work for Lake County Courthouse Expansion Project; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from two vendors at the Lake County Administrative Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on October 6, 2016, at 2:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the Bid; the staff evaluated the bid submitted and determined that the bid submitted by Interior Concepts, Inc., of Lincolnwood, Illinois, in the amount of $85,950 is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for Lake County; and
