* The resolution also appropriates $65,000 of 1/4% Sales Tax for Transportation funds for these engineering services.

R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its PASSAGE Program, endeavors to interconnect traffic control signal systems situated throughout Lake County; and

WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, plans to install conduit and fiber optic along US Route 45 and along Hawley Street in Mundelein to connect additional traffic signals and PTZ cameras to the Lake County PASSAGE system; and

WHEREAS, it is advisable that a professional engineering services firm be employed to provide Phase II design engineering services; and
