Electronic Patient Systems Support Services - Nordstrom

Body

The Lake County Health Department and Community Center is seeking a qualified supplier to provide Electronic Patient Systems Support Services.  A legal notice was published in The News Sun soliciting Requests for Proposals (RFP 16179).  The RFP was also posted to the LCHD/CHC website and emailed to six suppliers.  Sealed proposals were received from three suppliers and opened in the Materials Management Office on August 18, 2016.

An evaluation committee comprised of LCHD/CHC staff reviewed and evaluated the proposals and interviewed all three suppliers.  Based on the evaluation criteria within the RFP, the review team determined the response from eMedApps of Schaumburg, IL, to be the preferred submittal to best meet the needs of the LCHD/CHC.  Based on eMedApps response, the total estimated annual expense is $984,000 for a two (2) year period, with three (3) additional one (1) year renewals subject to acceptable performance by the contractor.  Prices will remain firm/fixed for years one (1) and two (2).  The supplier must submit a written request 60 days in advance of the annual contract period for any future price increases after the initial two (2) year contract period.

Business Operations requests authorization to enter into a contract with eMedApps from Schaumburg, Illinois, for Electronic Patient Systems Support Services.

Suggested Motion

To approve the award and authorize the Executive Director or designee to execute the necessary negotiated documents for RFP #16179 with eMedApps, Schaumburg, Illinois, in the estimated annual amount of $984,000 for a two (2) year contract term with three (3) additional renewal options with funds from multiple, existing budget lines.
