Friends for Health (FFH) is a 501c3 organization that partners with the Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center to support services at the North Shore Health Center. On June 26th, FFH held a special event commemorating the tenth anniversary of the opening of the North Shore Health Center. As part of this event, FFH raised $9,000 in donations from community members. This money has been awarded as a grant to LCHD/CHC. Funds will be spent on specialty care services for North Shore Health Center patients. They will be expended before March 31, 2017.
Suggested Motion
To approve the grant funding of $9,000 from Friends for Health to the Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center to support specialty care services for North Shore Health Center patients.
