R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Rollins Road, County Highway 31, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Rollins Road, from Hook Drive to Illinois Route 132, could be microsurfaced; and
WHEREAS, this project will consist of crack sealing and patching prior to applying the microsurfacing, applying a two-pass microsurfacing course, and applying new permanent pavement markings; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications and estimates of costs for this improvement have been completed, and this improvement is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held, an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $1,525,000 of Matching Tax funds for the 2016 microsurfacing of Rollins Road, from Hook Drive to Illinois Route 132, and designated as Section 16-00080-61-RS.
