RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the ICJIA has announced the continuation of the State's Attorney's Crime Analysis program, with a 12-month renewal that includes $51,579 in federal funds to enhance gang information and intelligence-sharing, and contribute to information sharing systemic improvements during the period October 1, 2016, through September 30, 2017; and
WHEREAS, the grant program will fund 100 percent of the salary and benefits for a full time Crime Analyst in the Gang/Narcotics Prosecutions Division, and is comprised of $51,579 in federal funds, a required match of $17,193, and additional match of $15,241 for a program total of $84,013; and
WHEREAS, the grant renewal must be formally accepted by Lake County.
