R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, LCDOT is a licensed user of TCLS, a software system developed by Midwest Software Solutions, Ann Arbor, Michigan, for traffic crash analysis; and
WHEREAS, the TCLS is used extensively by LCDOT for traffic crash analysis; and
WHEREAS, the maintenance agreement with Midwest Software Solutions will expire on August 31, 2016; and
WHEREAS, LCDOT and Midwest Software Solutions desire to renew the maintenance agreement for a three year period beginning September 1, 2016, and ending August 31, 2019, at a cost of $26,750; and
WHEREAS, an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that the County Engineer of Lake County is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of Lake County an agreement for a three year maintenance agreement with Midwest Software Solutions, Ann Arbor, Michigan, for the TCLS, draft of said agreement attached hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that there is hereby appropriated $30,000 of Matching Tax funds to provide for these services, and designated as Section 16-00000-16-EG.
