•                     Lake County is enrolled in the IMRF pension plan and there is a need to appoint someone to act as Lake County’s authorized agent and administer the plan.

•                     Human Resources desires the appointment of Christine Kopka, as Lake County’s IMRF Authorized Agent for its pension plan.

RESOLUTION

                     WHEREAS, Lake County is enrolled in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) plan; and

                     WHEREAS, Human Resources desires to appoint and authorize Christine Kopka to administer Lake County’s IMRF pension; and

                     WHEREAS, the Financial and Administrative Committee has reviewed and approved said appointment at its August 3, 2016 committee meeting.

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, that the appointment of Christine Kopka, Assistant Director of Human Resources and Risk Manager, as Lake County’s IMRF Authorized Agent, is hereby approved.
