RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the Emergency Telephone System Board for the Lake County 9-1-1 Service Area was established by Ordinance of this County Board adopted January 9, 1990, and amended May 14, 1996; and

WHEREAS, appointments to the Lake County Emergency Telephone System Board are made with staggered two year terms ending November 30 of each year; and

WHEREAS, Deputy Chief Tom Bender has retired, creating a vacancy for the remainder of his term expiring November 30, 2017; and

WHEREAS, it is the request of your Chairman that Michael Botterman, Deputy Chief of the Wauconda Police Department be appointed as a member of the Lake County Emergency Telephone System Board to fill the vacancy created by Chief Tom Bender for a term ending November 30, 2017.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that Deputy Chief, Michael Botterman, is hereby appointed to serve on the Lake County Emergency Telephone System Board for a term ending November 30, 2017.
