R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, pursuant to authority granted by this Lake County Board and the Waukegan Township Road District Highway Commissioner, the County Engineer heretofore called for sealed bids, by publication, for the overlaying of existing pavement with HMA surface course and cutting back butt joints on various Waukegan Township Road District streets in the Waukegan Township Road District, and designated as Section 16-16000-01-GM; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication and calling for said bids, sealed bids were received and opened on May 17, 2016, at 10:00 A.M. at the Lake County Division of Transportation in Libertyville, Illinois, a tabulation of said bids being as follows:

WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee, the County Engineer and the Purchasing Agent have examined each bid, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is Chicagoland Paving, Inc., Lake Zurich, Illinois, their bid being $75,929.54, based on estimated quantities and unit prices; and
