RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, there is a need to enter into a contract with a successful vendor to provide herbicide application services for Lake County; and
WHEREAS, the contractor shall provide all materials and labor for the herbicide application to right of ways; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 33.036 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, a bid was called for by publication for herbicide application to the right-of-way for the Lake County Division of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from three vendors at the Lake County Administrative Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on May 5, 2016; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the bid; the staff evaluated all bids submitted and determined that the bid submitted by TGF Enterprises, Inc., Libertyville, IL in the amount of $32,455.08 is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for Lake County.
