Staff Summary
• The Public Works Department has a need for a Manager of Finance and Financial Control to provide strategic financial planning, contract management and enhanced coordination of municipal contracts.
• There is currently a vacant position that the Public Works and Human Resources are recommending for a title and pay level change.
• The position will report to the Public Works director and will be responsible for strategic financial planning, supervising a contract manager, and oversite of the coordination of municipal water and sewer contracts countywide.
• The current pay level is M10 ($83,00-$103,700-$124,400), the recommended pay level is M11 ($95,400-$119,300-$143,200).
• Based upon the former incumbent’s salary, if the new employee is hired at the minimum of the pay grade there will be no increase in the department’s budget.
