Title
Animal Care and Control Program Administrative Procedures and Policies Proposed Revisions - Pfister
Body
Section I(b), which describes when home confinement and observation is allowed for biting animals that are not currently inoculated against rabies, is amended to include: a dog or cat currently nursing a litter; and a puppy or kitten four (4) months of age or younger.
Section I(e), which describes when home confinement and observation is allowed for a biting service/therapy animal, is clarified to allow for information rather than documentation for service or therapy provided by an animal as documentation may not always be available.
Section IV(c), which describes rabies registration requirements for pet owners with dual residence, is revised for clarity and to include the fee required for the tag.
Section VIII, which describes requirements for traps provided for nuisance wildlife, was amended by adding subsection (b). This new subsection contains conditions under which refundable deposit fees for traps are collected, and when these fees may be waived.
Section IX, which describes requirements for Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) colony cat impoundments, is revised to clarify that the reduced fee assessments for these cats apply only when there is no documented nuisance associated with the colony.
