* There are sufficient funds in the grant to cover the salary and wages of the position for the remainder of the grant period.
* This action requires an increase of one full-time equivalent in the Circuit Courts 2016 budget and line item transfers totaling $40,300 to wages and benefits.
* This position will be eliminated upon expiration of the grant.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Substance Abuse and Mental Services Administration (SAMHSA), a division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, has awarded Lake County a Behavioral Health Treatment Court Collaborative (BHTCC) grant in the amount of $340,231 for year two of a four year period; and
WHEREAS, the 19th Judicial Circuit operates various specialty courts; and
WHEREAS, the grant is intended to enhance these courts; and
WHEREAS, a Case Manager will conduct assessments in the Lake County Jail and coordinate the services recommended by the assessment results; and
WHEREAS, the addition of this position requires County Board approval and a line-item transfers of $40,300.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of Lake County, Illinois, that it hereby authorizes an increase in headcount of one Full Time Equivalent in the Circuit Courts budget and a line item transfers of $40,300 as outlined in the attached chart of accounts.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this position will be eliminated upon expiration of the grant.
