* Utility Resource Group, LLC of Sterling Heights, Michigan, was determined to be the lowest responsive and responsible bidder who best meets the needs of the County in the amount of $171,744.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, there is a need to enter into a contract with a successful vendor to provide underground utility locating service for the Lake County Division of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, the contract shall provide the marking of Lake County owned underground storm sewer facilities only per "the Illinois Underground Utility Facilities Damage Prevention Act"; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 33.036 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, a bid was called for by publication for underground utility locating services for the Lake County Division of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received from four vendors at the Lake County Administrative Building, Waukegan, Illinois, on January 14, 2016, at 2:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria set forth in the bid; the staff evaluated all bids submitted and determined that the bid submitted by Utility Resource Group, LLC, of Sterling, Michigan, in the amount of $171,744 is the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for Lake County; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED...
