R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its PASSAGE Program, endeavors to interconnect traffic control signal systems situated throughout Lake County; and
WHEREAS, ITS Passage Field Elements 2016 will provide for the installation of communication infrastructure (fiber and conduit or wireless), traffic signal controllers and pan-tilt-zoom cameras at various routes in Lake County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $600,000 of ¼% Sales Tax for Transportation funds for the ITS Passage Field Elements 2016, including the installation of communication infrastructure (approximately 17,000 feet of fiber and conduit and up to six wireless links), adding one cellular connection, adding up to 12 pan-tilt-zoom cameras and one trailer mounted pan-tilt-zoom camera, and designated as Section 16-00268-14-TL.
