RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Deerfield Road, County Highway 11, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial for the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Deerfield Road, from US Route 45/Illinois Route 21 to Saunders Road/Riverwoods Road, could be improved by widening and reconstructing the roadway as well as the addition of non-motorized accommodations; and
WHEREAS, it is advisable that a consultant engineering firm be employed to provide Phase I preliminary engineering services; and
WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, has selected a professional engineering services firm in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, 50 ILCS 510/1 et. seq.; and
WHEREAS, Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd., Rosemont, Illinois, are consulting engineers skilled in the provis...
