R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, in recent years, landscape improvements have been completed on portions of various highways including the planting of trees and shrubs; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if the landscape, including trees and shrubs, along various County highways are properly maintained; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications and estimates of costs for this maintenance have been completed, and it is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a letting can be held, an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $50,000 of Matching Tax funds for landscape maintenance, including trees and shrubs, along various County highways, and designated as Section 16-00000-17-GM.
