RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Illinois Route 132, from Munn Road to Deerpath Drive, will be improved with widening, resurfacing, bicycle and pedestrian accommodations and traffic signal modernization; and
WHEREAS, the free flow of traffic along Illinois Route 132, from Munn Road to Deerpath Drive, is beneficial to the safety and welfare of the State of Illinois and the County as a whole; and
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois and Lake County believe it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public to reconstruct Illinois Route 132, from Munn Road to Deerpath Drive; and
WHEREAS, the County's portion of this improvement is the intersections of Illinois Route 132 at Granada Boulevard and Illinois Route 132 at Sand Lake Road, which are within the limits of this improvement; and
WHEREAS, the IDOT and Lake County are desirous of entering into an agreement for said improvement, a draft copy of which is attached hereto.
