R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Gilmer Road, County Highway 26, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial for the safety and welfare of the motoring public if the intersection of Gilmer Road at Midlothian Road, could be reconstructed and improved; and
WHEREAS, it is advisable that a consultant engineering firm be employed to provide Phase II design engineering services for said proposed reconstruction and widening; and
WHEREAS, Lake County, by and through its Division of Transportation, has selected a professional engineering services firm in accordance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act (50 ILCS 510/1 et. seq.); and
WHEREAS, Civiltech Engineering, Inc., Itasca, Illinois, are consulting engineers skilled in the provision of said Phase II design engineering services.
