• There are 44 accounts, totaling $31,204.66, which are deemed uncollectable: 14 accounts, totaling $9,357.33, were unsuccessfully collected by the State’s Attorney’s Office during bankruptcy proceedings; the properties of 28 accounts, totaling $20,852.55, were sold by the Sheriff’s Office through a tax sale due to foreclosure; and two accounts, totaling $994.78, have been unsuccessfully processed through a collection agency.
