RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, a request has been made to purchase 2 GPS Receivers with Data Collector Tablets for the Lake County Division of Transportation (LCDOT); and
WHEREAS, LCDOT has a long standing successful relationship with Precision Midwest, Warrenville, Illinois, as the appointed vendor for sales of Trimble total stations in this area; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Article 6, Section 102 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, the Purchasing Agent consulted with an ad hoc review group that approved a bid exemption on the basis of an existing long standing, successful relationship and appointed vendor for procuring Trimble equipment; and
WHEREAS, this project is funded by the IT Innovations Fund.
