R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, this Lake County Board, by prior resolution, approved $40,000 of County Bridge Tax funds and approved a contract with Sjostrom & Sons, Inc., Rockford, Illinois, for the repair of the bridge deck on westbound Washington Street over the Des Plaines River for a maximum cost of $31,600; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Committee and the Finance and Administrative Committee approved Change Order Number Two, in the amount of $26,935, at their meeting of August 26, 2015 for additional repair work of the nearby bearing assembly at the east abutment of the westbound bridge under the outer lane of the Washington Street Bridge; and
