R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, County Highway 54, is a designated route on the County highway system; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the safety and welfare of the motoring public if Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, from Illinois Route 43 to Illinois Route 131, could be resurfaced; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications, and estimates of costs for this improvement have been completed, and this improvement is now ready to proceed to contract letting; and
WHEREAS, before a construction letting can be held, an appropriation of funds is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that there is hereby appropriated $1,765,000 of Matching Tax funds for the resurfacing of Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, from Illinois Route 43 to Illinois Route 131, and designated as Section 15-00999-17-RS.
