Resolution authorizing contracts with US Tech Solutions, Chicago, Illinois, and RADgov, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in an amount not to exceed $50,000 for fiscal year 2015 (FY2015) and future Information Technology (IT) staff augmentation services for Lake County for a one year period with renewal options.

Staff Summary
* There is a need to establish a list of prequalified vendors for IT staff augmentation services, to provide technology resources, project support, systems architecture and design, consultation, and development as specified for the Lake County IT department.
* A Request for Proposal (RFP) was issued to identify qualified firms that could provide IT Staff Augmentation services for Lake County.
* Lake County extended requests for proposals to 92 vendors, and received responses from 22.
* A review committee comprised of staff from IT, Health Department, Courts, and Purchasing determined that the proposals submitted by RADgov and US Tech Solutions are the most qualified and favorable proposals for Lake County.
* This resolution authorizes a contract amount for $50,000 for FY2015.
* For future contract terms, the County reserves the right to select the vendor determined to provide the most qualified resource for the required position as budgeted in future contract years.

RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, There is a need to establish a list of pre-qualified vendors for information technology staff augmentation services, to provide technology resources, project support, systems architecture and design, consultation, and development as specified for the Lake County Information Technology department; and

WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 33.051 of the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance, proposals were called for by publication of information technology staff augmentation services; and

WHEREAS, subsequent to said publication, request for proposals were extended to 92 vendors; and
