R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the Federal Highway Administration requires states to inspect bridges within the state, and the state has delegated that responsibility to the local agencies; and

WHEREAS, LCDOT has performed the inspection of the Township Road District bridges for many years at no cost to the Townships; and

WHEREAS, to formalize this shared service, separate agreements will be executed with the Township Road Districts of Antioch, Cuba, Fremont, Grant, Libertyville, and Warren for bridge inspection services provided by the LCDOT, draft copies are attached hereto.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Lake County Board, that the County Board Chair, the County Clerk, and the County Engineer of Lake County, Illinois, are authorized, and are hereby directed to enter into separate agreements, and any subsequent amendments, between Lake County and the Township Road Districts of Antioch, Cuba, Fremont, Grant, Libertyville, and Warren for bridge inspection services provided by the LC...
